R. Minnikhanov met with activists and winners of the festival “Our time – Beznen zaman”

(KZN.RU, February 28). Enhancing the prestige of working professions is our priority task. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, announced this today at the meeting with activists and winners of the annual Open Republican Television Festival of Working Youth Creativity “Our time – Beznen zaman”. The event was held in the House of Government of the RT.

Asgat Safarov, the head of the Presidential Administration of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Albert Karimov, the deputy prime-minister and the minister of Industry and Trade of the RT, Damir Fattakhov, the minister of Youth Affairs of the RT, Elena Kuzmicheva, the chairperson of Federation of Trade Unions of the RT, and others took part in the meeting.

According to the President of the RT, the preparation for the festival creates a positive environment in the working teams of large and medium-sized companies. “People not only work together, but also spend their time together, protect the interests of their team. This is a very good way. Large enterprises should have appropriate structures for working with young people. The main force is our trade unions. Creating such platforms, where young people communicate, is very important”, noted Rustam Minnikhanov.

He proposed to attract creative youth working in Tatarstan enterprises to participate in various republican events. In particular, the President asked Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, to involve young people from different regions of Tatarstan in the events held in the capital of the republic.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that large companies should form several teams at once to participate in the festival. “It must be massive. Let them participate in zonal competitions. Then you can form a national team”, he said.

“This festival is a great opportunity for business leaders to dive into the youth environment. This is a very good educational form. The youth will be patriotic in relation to their team, district, city, republic, country. We should not take this as an additional job”, marked Rustam Minnikhanov.

Also, according to the press service of the President of the RT, he recommended expanding the information coverage of the festival's zonal stages. “The zonal stages are as much important as the gala concert. Let's make a program to point out these tours. We need to see what opportunities there are, how to make the coverage wider, pick interest”, the President of the RT addressed to the participants of the meeting.

In conclusion, Rustam Minnikhanov assured that the festival “Our time – Beznen zaman” will continue to be supported by the leadership of Tatarstan.

The Open Republican Television Festival of Working Youth Creativity “Our Time – Beznen Zaman” has been held since 2013 with the support of Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT. Every year, participant are young people from 18 to 35 years old working at enterprises and organizations of the oil, energy, machine-building industry, as well as representatives of educational institutions, social service organizations and other fields of activity.

Teams or individual participants compete in the following nominations: “Music Direction”, “Dance Direction”, “Moment of Glory” and “Signature Work”.
