(KZN.RU,
December 6, Ksenia Shvetsova). It is planned to open new sections in HoC “Mashinostroiteley”
and increase attendance from 190 to 1500 people. It was voiced to Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, during a visit to the largest cultural institution
of the Admiralteiskaya Sloboda in the Kirovsky district. The head of the city
inspected the premises of the house of culture, and also met with the young
students.
At the
present time, the HoC “Mashinostroiteley” is on the balance of the PAO “Kazan
Helicopter Plant”. Subsequently, it is planned to transfer it to municipal
ownership for the placement of a multifunctional youth center. Olga Drozdova,
the director of the institution, said that residents of the district from 5 to
80 years old are engaged in 8 collectives of amateur activities on the basis of
the recreation center. There are sports sections for futsal, volleyball,
basketball, martial arts for children and adolescents, as well as a gym and
dance hall. “All sections are free for everyone”, noted Olga Drozdova.
Airat
Faizov, the chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs, said that
after transferring the institution to the city, it is planned to open new
sections, for example, on robotics, one of the most popular areas among young
Kazan citizens, and increase attendance several times. “In general, this house
of culture is occupied by 190 people, mostly children and veterans. There are
children who are preparing for the festival “Beznen Zaman”. But, taking into
account the premises we have and not use at full capacity, we can increase the
attendance of recreation centers up to 1.5 thousand people”, said A. Faizov. He
added that it is planned to hold KVN games on the basis of recreation centers,
and also marked that all active classes will be continued.
The HoC
building was built in 1948-49, in 2000 it was thoroughly repaired. “The
building is in a good state. Routine repairs are carried out regularly, plus
all major works were performed during the overhaul, such as replacement of
communications, roofs, plumbing fixtures at the expense of the plant”,
explained the director of the HoC.
“It can be
seen that the state of the house of culture was monitored. The building itself
is very beautiful, there are a few of these left nowadays”, said the Mayor,
examining a gym with high ceilings and large arched windows, built in 1959. Ilsur
Metshin also talked with the children who came to the training and wished them
success and sports victories.
Also, the
head of the city examined the assembly hall for 240 seats, in which various
events are regularly held: concerts, festivals, creative evenings, Christmas
trees for children. Thanks to this, the House of Culture covers the entire
micro-district; 140-150 events are held there annually, about 4 thousand people
visit the institution every year.
“For the
Admiralteiskaya Sloboda, this is the only cultural institution of this scale
with a large number of sections. You’ve done well keeping it in good condition,
it is full of active life. Today, quite a few people attend classes, but to
bring the number to 1.5 thousand is an important task”, concluded Ilsur
Metshin.
