A new school №183 opened in Kazan on the Day of Knowledge

(KZN.RU, September 1, Alsu Safina). Today, the school №183 has been opened in the Sovetsky district of Kazan. On the Day of Knowledge, more than 800 schoolchildren crossed the threshold of the new school for the first time. Rustam Nigmatullin, the first deputy prime minister of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Andrey Pominov, the head of the first deputy minister of Education and Science of the RT, Ilnar Khidiyatov, the head of the Department of Education, Rustem Gafarov, the head of the Sovetsky district’s administration, deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and RT State Council congratulated student, their parents and teachers on the occasion.

The school №183, located on Minskaya Street, is designed for 1224 people. At the moment, 839 pupils are enrolled in the school, 30 classes are formed. About 70 teachers will educate them. It is expected that the modern educational institution in the neighborhood Azino-2 will solve the problem of the congestion of the schools of the micro-district, and also unload the schools in settlements of Officers and Voznesenskoe.

Rustam Nigmatullin, the first deputy prime minister of the RT, congratulated pupils and their parents on the Day of Knowledge that children will meet for the first time in this school. “Today more than 400 thousand students will go to the schools of the republic, more than 50 thousand of them will do it for the first time”, he said. “I want to wish good luck. I wish the new school will be your second home for the period of study, so that you will receive knowledge and useful skills. We tried to make this house cozy, so it would be good and comfortable for you to study in”.

The head of the city gave a kind welcome to the students. “This year, 17 thousand children go to the first grade in Kazan. In total, 128 thousand students will cross the threshold of the school”, said I. Metshin. “Today is a big holiday in the city. We open three big schools in Kazan at the same time”. The Mayor thanked the country's leadership for the federal program “Education”, as well as the President of the RT and the builders, who did their best to create good conditions for children.

“I wish you a successful academic year. You open the history of the new school, a wonderful team of teachers is gathered here. We are sure that you will have unforgettable days in a new beautiful school”, said Ilsur Metshin. “Be diligent, please your parents and teachers”. The head of the city handed Svetlana Galinova, the headmistress of the school, a gift certificate for additional equipment for the school. Gazinur Akhmetov, the director of the company OOO “Ak Tash” that built the school gave her a symbolic key from the school.

The headmistress of the school thanked the leadership of the republic, the Mayor, and the builders. “You have made us a unique gift: a school with unique opportunities. The entire team barely waited for September 1, everyone was eager to get down to work sooner. You gave us a school of dreams. We promise to do everything to make Tatarstan proud of our graduates”, said Svetlana Galinova.

The head of the city together with other guests inspected the new school. The total area of the three-story building is 25.4 thousand square meters. The school is divided into several functional areas. One block has premises for primary classes. There are study rooms with recreational facilities, play and sleeping rooms for groups of the extended day, a separate entrance with a wardrobe. The other block will be attended by middle and high school students. There are containers for separate garbage collection in the corridors.

The guests inspected the modern medical unit, and also visited the class of goodness of the first-graders. There were Diaries of Good Deeds on the desks prepared for all first-graders of Kazan. The students shared their impressions of the new modern school with the head of the city.

The school will have a linguistic direction. The students will study not only Russian, Tatar, and English, but also German and Chinese.

In addition, the children's art school №4, sports clubs and sections, language schools, a drama studio, a fashion theater, and a design studio will operate on the basis of the school.

The school has two gyms with an area of 30x15 meters and 24x12 meters, separate shells and dressing rooms with showers and toilets. There is a tennis table in the hallway next to the entrance to the gym. The children can play foosball there.

Schoolchildren will be able to engage in physical education both in the gym and in the pool. There are also two pools with an area of 25x11 meters and 12.5x6 meters, the second is designed for young children. Dressing rooms and showers, toilets, room for coaching rooms and a nurse on duty with a laboratory are allocated in a separate pool complex for the convenience of students.

The guests also looked into the dining room, made according to the design of the school restaurant. The dining room is decorated in bright yellow and green colors; the sights of Kazan are depicted on the wall.

In conclusion, the guests inspected the outdoor sports fields and athletics tracks and assessed the improvement of the school territory.
