(KZN.RU,
May 28, Ksenia Shvetsova). On June 1, a busy summer program will start in the
parks, united by a concept with a sonorous name “YASNO”, consisting of separate
thematic areas, targeting different audiences and a different format for the
proposed activities. This year, the Directorate of Parks and Squares of Kazan
organized a cultural program for the summer season in the park areas of the
city for the first time. Alsu Saetova, the director of the organization, told
about the events planned for the summer season in the parks and squares of the
city today at the Business Monday.
A. Saetova
noted that the title of the project can be interpreted in different ways. “The
word “Yasno” (Rus. “clear”) is associated with the summer sun, good weather,
creating the appropriate mood. And if we consider this word as an abbreviation,
then it becomes possible to expand its meaning, which can be translated as “I
Aspire to New Discoveries, or I Create a New Society”, said A. Saetova and
spoke in the details about the project.
City parks
will be available for artists to give a new impetus to the development of
street art. The first street art objects will appear in the framework of the
opening of the summer program in the park “Chernoe Ozero”. And on the day of
the young people, a big street art festival will take place in the
Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest.
According
to the speaker, development of eco-culture among parks visitors will be a
special direction. By tradition, the Gorkinsko-Ometevsky forest will be the
main platform for eco-activities. From June 1, an eco-quest will be held on the
territory of the park on a permanent basis. Master classes, laboratories,
interactive lessons from the children professions city “Kidspace” will be held
on the site of the eco-center.
Another
feature of the eco-direction in the parks will be the opening of the first city
garden in the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest. As A. Saetova said, this is a
widespread practice of European park zones, which recently appeared in a number
of Moscow parks. Now it has come to Kazan. Children will be able to plant
simple garden plants in a specially equipped area of the park.
A cultural
program is planned in the parks within the framework of the project
“Zhiznelub”. Activities of the project “Zhiznelubs in Parks” will be held on
the territory of 7 city public spaces. “We have placed emphasis on the
connection of generations within the framework of the project “Zhiznelub”. We
proceeded to implement the project “Breakfast with Grandmother”. Life-lovers
will share their recipes with younger generation”, said A. Saetova.
Special
attention in the cultural program is given to musical projects. A piano will be
placed in the park “Chernoe Ozero” again, anyone can play it. Also this year
the final concerts-exams of children's music schools will be in the parks for
the first time.
As part of
the opening of the summer season, the Directorate together with the Center for
Contemporary Culture “Smena” will open a bookstore with book-crossing in the
park “Chernoe Ozero” on June 2.
A separate
direction of the summer program will be gastronomic projects. The Committee of
Tourism Development will hold the favorite festival “Delicious Kazan” in the
Gorky Park. During the summer, it is planned to hold another 5-6 gastro
weekends at various parks.
At night, a
cultural program in parks and squares are also waiting for residents and guests
of Kazan. “Starting in June, we launch night quests in parks, which will be
devoted to the history of the city and popular science directions. The law on
the regime of silence inspired us to hold quiet parties in the parks”, said A.
Saetova.
On June 1,
the program starts dedicated to the Children’s Day. A large children's party
will take place in the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest. There will be a festival of
string musical instruments “Strings of Childhood” in the park “Krylya Sovetov”.
The official opening of the pump-track in the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsk forest is a
long-awaited object for the bicycle community of the republic.
Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted that in the future parks have all chances to
become not just a recreation area, but also cultural institutions with open
spaces and different audience. “Our main priority is the comfort and safety of
our residents. Each park takes its specific direction. The more the palette of
different cultural directions and events, the more interesting will be the life
in these parks”, said the Mayor.
