The holiday at the “Kazan Arena” ended with a firework

(KZN.RU, March 18, Ekaterina Vislavskaya). The day of presidential elections in the capital of Tatarstan ended with a concert at the stadium “Kazan Arena” and a festive firework. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, thanked Kazan citizens for their participation in the voting from the stage.

According to the state information system “Elections” at 6 pm, the turnout to the voting reached 69.21%for Tatarstan in general.

The concert started at 5 pm. The territory of the stadium was divided into three parts: a stage, an activity zone, and a food court. At the first one before the media facade, a concert began at 5 pm. Republican pop and rock performers, and after special guests Alvin Gray, Egor Krid, and Salavat performed for the audience. The celebratory program was conducted by well-known TV hosts Maksim Sharafutdinov and Mikhail Volkonadsky. On the recreational site, Kazan citizens could test their aim in a pneumatic shooting gallery, pass a trim trail, and take part in team competitions. A lot of people came to the holiday with whole families, despite the bad weather. A separate tent with animators and master classes was equipped for small children. The concert ended after 10 pm.

“These are the most important elections in our country: the election of the President of the Russian Federation. This is a huge and complex process. And today we can say that this process was legitimate and very successful in the republic. We are all for a strong Russia, for a strong Tatarstan! And you together with us voted for our future!” said Rustam Minnikhanov. The head of the republic thanked Kazan citizens for their participation in the voting and wished the residents of the city the fulfillment of their desires and prosperity.

The concert ended with a festive firework. More than 20 shots colored the sky above Kazanka in yellow, red, blue, and green colors. City public transport runs on the schedule of the working day today on the occasion of elections. Citizens could get home on trams and buses.

Asgat Safarov, the head of the Office of the President of the RT, Leila Fazleeva, the deputy prime minister of the RT, Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee, Azat Abzalov, the head of Department of Culture of Kazan, and others also attended the concert.
