The circus opened in Kazan after reconstruction

(KZN.RU, March 16, Alsu Safina). Today the circus opened in Kazan after reconstruction. 1.5 thousand children from large families of municipal districts of Tatarstan became the first spectators of the circus show “Fiesta”.

Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Asgat Safarov, the head of the Office of the President of the RT, Leila Fazleeva, the deputy prime minister of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Airat Sibagatullin, the minister of Culture of the RT, Elmira Zaripova, the minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the RT, participated in the solemn event on the occasion of the opening of the circus.

At the entrance to the circus, long-awaited guests were greeted by mascots: zebras, giraffes, pigs, bears, monkeys, and others, who danced and took pictures with the children. At the entrance to the hall, the audience could watch the performances of the jugglers.

The audience told the impressions of the new circus before the show. “We already had time to see the revived circus, I liked it very much. It is light, beautiful, warm, pleasant atmosphere, there are children everywhere”.

The President arrived in the circus not long before the start of the performance and took pictures with the youngest spectators and gave autographs.

The opening ceremony traditionally began with circus parade, pupils of the Kazan circus school went at the arena among other artists. After that, numerous spectators unitedly shouted “Hello, circus” and thus opened it after repairing.

Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, congratulated the audience on a joyful event. “After the completion of the overhaul, we decided that the first spectators of the circus should be exemplary large families from all regions of the republic”, he noted. “Family is the foundation of any country, any subject, and we are proud of you, it is an honor for us to welcome you in the circus”.

“Today we can proudly say that the Kazan Circus meets all modern requirements”, marked the head of the republic.

He thanked the designers, builders, and other specialists. “In a short time, the whole complex was overhauled, including the circus school. We spent almost 1 billion rubles on this great program, and today the circus opens its doors”, noted R. Minnikhanov.

After that, he presented the staff of the Kazan Circus with the Gratitude of the President of the RT for a great contribution to the development of circus art. Damir Sharifullin received the award from the hands of the head of the republic.

The program “Fiesta” of the State Circus includes performances by aerial acrobats, jugglers, clowns, equilibrists, circus gymnasts, masters of riding, and also bears, monkeys, and geese tamers.

Works on the reconstruction of the circus began in April last year. Scientific and research works, preparation of design estimates, interior design within the framework of repair and restoration works of the building were carried out by the GUP “Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt”.

In less than a year, the air conditioning and ventilation systems appeared in the circus, the number of public toilets increased, the lobby, the wardrobe, the riding hall, the hall, the cloakroom, the animal rooms, the stable, the dressing rooms were renovated.

During the works, the area of the lobby was enlarged. All internal doors are installed in accordance with modern fire safety requirements. In addition, a number of works have been carried out to strengthen the structure of the dome, repair of floors, roofing, suspended dome structures, repair of interiors.

The auditorium, according to the traditions of the circus, is decorated in red colors, new gray chairs are installed there. New technologies are also used for light and sound accompaniment of performances in the circus.

The work touched not only interior decoration and decoration of the circus but also the facade and lighting. In particular, the color of the top illumination will change depending on the weather.
