R. Minnikhanov: “The Kazan Helicopter Plant is able to solve any problems”
(KZN.RU, March 14). The Kazan Helicopter Plant (KHP) is a modern production and is able to solve any problems, said Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT. Today he took part in the opening of a new galvanic production workshop.
The construction of the new building made it possible to reduce the production area by 27% because earlier the sites of applying galvanic and paint coatings were in different rooms. Also, weld-bonding of panels will be produced in the shop. The productivity of labor is increased by 15% due to modernization. The company will be able to save about 2.3 million rubles a year due to the sewage treatment point installed here with modern pumping equipment. The total amount of investments in the project reached 2 billion rubles, 70% of which is own funds, and 30 – federal funds.
Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the new production facilities and took part in the ceremonial opening of the workshop. He noted that now the main thing is to provide the plant with orders. “The Kazan Helicopter Plant is able to solve any problems, today this is the most modern production”, said the President of the RT. “It is very important for us that this production was occupied”.
In addition, another landmark event for the plant took place on the day of the launch of the new workshop. This is the transfer of the first medical helicopter “Ansat” under a new contract with the State Transport Leasing Company. Earlier the KHP had already delivered 6 Ansat helicopters in a medical modification, and the order volume was increased up to 12 copies in 2018. Another 11 will be delivered during the first half-year, reports the press service of the President of the RT.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Timur Alibaev, the head of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts’ administration, Andrey Boginsky, the general director of the holding company “Helicopters of Russia”, Vadim Ligay, the deputy general director of the holding company “Helicopters of Russia” on infrastructural development, and others also took part in the event.
