(KZN.RU, October 5, by Ekaterina Andreeva). The Chistopolskaya – Amirkhan interchange is scheduled to open to traffic in late October, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin was informed today at a session held at the construction site headquarters.
It will be recalled that that the following projects are due to be completed in Kazan by 2013:
construction of 12 road junctions; construction and reconstruction of 23 65 km-long roads (construction - 15 km, reconstruction - 50 km); overhaul of 73 city streets with a total length of 121 km; construction and reconstruction of 45 pedestrian crossings (29 underground and 16 elevated).
Currently, construction work is being carried out at 11 road junctions, 15 streets and roads and 20 pedestrian crossings.
