R. Minnikhanov gave keys to new cars to heads of rural settlements and municipal institutions of the RT
(KZN.RU, December 21). Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, gave keys to new vehicles to representatives of rural settlements and municipal institutions of the RT.
The awarding ceremony was held today at the venue of the State Council of the RT. It was attended by Asgat Safarov, the head of the Office of the President of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Rustam Nigmatullin, the first deputy prime minister of the RT, and other officials.
Rustam Minnikhanov gave the representatives of municipal districts the keys to 93 cars “Chevrolet NIVA”, to representatives of Kazan – to 4 buses “Ford Transit”, and from Naberezhnye Chelny – to 3 buses “Ford Transit”.
Speaking to the participants of the ceremony, the President of the RT reminded that this event became a good tradition in the republic. On the day of the next congress of municipal councils, representatives of municipalities are given keys to service cars.
“Over the past 7 years, we have given over 1770 cars to our local governments. I believe that the basis of power is municipalities. You are In the middle of the real life”, said Rustam Minnikhanov.
According to him, the population estimates the work of the authorities by the activities of municipalities in general. “It doesn’t make any difference for a common man whether it’s a federal government or a republican one. So your functions and your work should be of high quality”, he said to the leaders of rural settlements, representatives of municipalities and urban districts.
The President of the RT also reminded that 37 programs of social orientation are being implemented in the republic, within the framework of which overhaul of social institutions are being carried out, new sports and cultural facilities are being built.
“The role and status of the head of the municipality are associated with the strengthening of the material and technical base. We are trying to ensure that there are such events as repair of buildings in rural settlements, the allocation of new official transport, the opening of new facilities in each municipality. We are aware that it is you who are the mainstay of power”, the Tatarstan Government Portal cited the words of Rustam Minnikhanov.
