(KZN.RU, September 14, by Taisiya Basharkina) The first kindergarten to be built under the "Belekech" republican program opened in Kazan today. The new pre-school on Glushko Street accommodating 120 children opened its doors to Azino-1 neighborhood kids. Its construction was completed in record time: the three-storey building, which meets all the sanitary standards, was built in seven months. The surrounding area was improved.
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin came to greet the children and their parents.
In Ilsur Metshin’s words, today is a very special day - the first kindergarten built under the "Belekech” presidential program opened. The Mayor said that this year Kazan will get 23 new kindergartens with 5,500 places and thanked the republic's leadership.

The main goal of the pre-school is promotion of sports and improvement of health. "We are working together with the "Ak Bure” sports complex, where the kids can use the swimming pool and the ice rink," explained the principal.
In Azino, Ilsur Metshin noted, 2,800 children are waiting for the opening of new preschools. This year, 10 new kindergartens are due to open. "The problem that has faced us for years - the lack of vacancies in the new neighborhood’s kindergartens – will finally be solved," summed up I. Metshin.
