R. Minnikhanov and I. Metshin inspected new sports objects on the territory of the equestrian complex “Kazan”
(KZN.RU, August 30). Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, inspected new sports facilities on the territory of the international equestrian center “Kazan” today. Asgat Safarov, the head of the Presidential Administration of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Vladimir Leonov, the minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of the RT, and Irek Minnakhmetov, the general director of the AO “Tatspirtprom”, accompanied him.
The first object was the sports club of martial arts “Khan”, which opened last year on the second floor of the arena of the republican children and youth equestrian school. Classes in boxing, kickboxing, Thai boxing, and judo are held at the club. Rustam Minnikhanov was informed that the “Khan” is a socially oriented project, aimed at the development of children's and youth sports. 120 children and teenagers are engaged there on a free basis, 50 of which are pupils of various children's social institutions.
The President of Tatarstan inspected the training area and spoke with the young wrestlers, after which he made a memorable photo with the athletes.
After that, the President of RT was shown a new football arena. All conditions are created for playing football in a covered area at any time of the year. Today amateur matches for all comers are held here. In particular, the matches of the children's football league among schoolchildren of junior and middle classes.
Rustam Minnikhanov offered to maximally use the adjacent territory to the arena, equipping the summer sports grounds and play areas for young children.
After that, the President visited the paintball center. The necessary infrastructure solutions allow holding here competitions on paintball of the international level. The center includes three competition venues, one of which is under the inflatable dome and can be used in winter.
Also, the guests visited equestrian competitions, which were held in honor of the Day of the City and the Republic.
