(KZN.RU, June 6). The traditional meeting, dedicated to the 218th birth anniversary of A. Pushkin and the Day of Russian language, was held in Kazan at the monument to the great Russian poet near the Opera and Ballet Theater named after M. Jalil.
Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Mintimer Shaimiev, the state councilor of the RT, Asgat Safarov, the head of the Presidential Administration, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Vasil Shaykhraziev, the deputy prime minister of the RT, Engel Fattakhov, the deputy prime minister of the RT and the minister of education and science of the RT, Airat Sibagatullin, the minister of culture of the RT, and others took part in the laying of flowers at the monument.
The event was also attended by schoolchildren, representatives of public organizations, creative and scientific community. The creative groups of Tatarstan performed on the stage, reports the press service of the President of the RT.
