Construction of 15 universal sports grounds is carrying out in Kazan

(KZN.RU, June 5, Alsu Safina). This year, 15 sports grounds will be built in Kazan under the republican program. Two more sports grounds will appear in the city by the order of Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. The head of the city noted at the Business Monday that all facilities should be illuminated so that everyone could train at the grounds from morning till night. The Mayor marked that sports grounds, including those located on the territory of the city's schools, should be accessible to all Kazan residents.

Since 2013, 65 sports grounds have appeared in the capital of Tatarstan when the republican program started. The heads of the districts’ administrations reported about the stages, at which the construction of 15 facilities is currently underway.

3 sports grounds will appear this year in Aviastroitelniy and Novo-Savinovsky districts: at the Sports School “Motor”, on the territory of schools №119 and 170. It is assumed that new facilities will be put into operation before July 1, noted Timur Alibaev, the head of the district’s administration .

It is planned to complete the construction of 4 facilities in the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts until June 20: at the stadium “Lokomotiv” and the Sports School “Strela”, as well as in the Fisherman's Garden and on the territory of the gymnasium №4.

Sports grounds in Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts will be opened on the territory of schools №35 and 37, near the dormitory of the Kazan Energy College, as well as at streets Tashayak, 2a, and Ershov, 7.

3 more sports grounds will start functioning this year in the Sovetsky district: on the territory of the school №72 on Druzhba Street, Education Center №178 on street Kamaleeva, 22, and school №15 on street 8 Marta, 10. Rustem Gafarov, the head of district’s administration, said that the construction of a hockey box with bleachers and warm locker rooms is conducted on the territory of school №15. Residents of the micro-district will be able to prepare for the passing of the GTO standards on the ground at Kamaleeva Street, equipped with simulators. And almost 4 thousand local residents will be able to work out at the sports ground on Druzhba Street.

Now the work is in full swing at all these sites: preparation of soil for sports grounds, concreting, installation of fence posts, and others.

Two more objects will appear in the city by the order of Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. Sergei Mironov, the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administrations, reminded that a children's and sports ground and a set of simulators will be built on municipal funds near the teenage club “Energetik”, which this year are overhauled. Rustem Gafarov, the head of the the Sovetsky district’s administration, said that the preparation of a sports ground at the intersection of Daurskaya and Otradnaya streets was started. Residents of nearby houses appealed to the Mayor with such a request.

The Mayor of Kazan drew attention to the fact that all the construction of sports grounds should be established qualitatively and correctly. “The first simulators in the street Syrtlanova were done by those who never worked on bars or round bars in their youth: the pipe is thin, the grip is not as it should be”, reminded Ilsur Metshin. “For those who understand this, it is perfectly clear, but for builders it can be incomprehensible”. The Mayor instructed the heads of districts’ administrations to control all the nuances of installing sports equipment and simulators.

Ilsur Metshin also noted that the sports grounds should be well-lit and generally accessible to all residents of the city. “Appeals came to the Web-reception. There are directors of schools who close these areas for visiting by the city residents. We make this program so that children, youth, and adults can work out on the sites. This is normal when the territories of schools are closed after 22.00 so that there is no mess. But all the grounds should be open from 6.00 to 22.00 “, marked Ilsur Metshin.
