R. Minnikhanov handed over the keys to the new machines to the head doctor of the Kazan Ambulance Station

(KZN.RU, June 5). Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, today handed over the keys to the Ford Transit cars for the Kazan Ambulance Station. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Adel Vafin, the Minister of Health of the RT, and others took part in the event.

The key delivery ceremony took place on the site near the surgical building of the Clinic of Medical University (city hospital №5 on the street Sharif Kamal, 12). The auto fleet of the ambulance station of Kazan was replenished with new machines, which will be used, including at the events of the Confederations Cup in 2017.

Before the beginning of the ceremony, R. Minnikhanov examined the ambulances and also got acquainted with their equipment. Adel Vafin, the Minister of Health of the RT, spoke about the equipment, available inside the vehicles, designed to provide operational medical assistance.

The President of the RT in his welcoming speech expressed confidence that the updated fleet will allow medicals to promptly leave to provide emergency medical care to the population. According to him, ambulances are equipped in accordance with modern requirements.

“The systemic work that is carried out in the republic in the field of healthcare is very large and serious”, said R. Minnikhanov. “This year we decided to put all polyclinics in the republic in order. This program will be carried out within two years, and all our polyclinics will meet the approved standards”.

Addressing doctors and medical workers, the President of Tatarstan noted that the main task is to effectively operate new ambulances. “Of course, today there are still a lot of complaints from our citizens for the provision of medical services”, noted R. Minnikhanov. “This is due to the lack of technology, its inefficient use, lack of specialists, and organization of work”.

“We are trying to solve all the issues on our part, on the part of the Government and the republic”, said Rustam Minnikhanov. “There is a serious infusion of funds into the healthcare sector, to the material and technical base, and transport services but the professional part is up to you, the Ministry of Health of the RT”.

“I have no doubt that we have a wonderful medical school, excellent specialists”, said the President of the R. “And we will support you. I hope that there will be results”.

Sergei Basanov, the head doctor of the Kazan Ambulance Station, made a reciprocal speech, according to the Tatarstan Government Portal.
