Mikhail Babich has studied the experience of Kazan on the improvement of yards

Mikhail Babich, the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, got acquainted with the experience of Kazan on the improvement of yard territories today during a working visit to the capital of Tatarstan. He visited the yard of the house №2 on the Prospect Amirkhan, which was renewed three years ago, together with the President of the RT and the Mayor of Kazan.

More than 2 thousand people live in the yard, which united houses on the Prospect Amirkhan, 2, 2a, 4a and 10a and on the Prospect Yamashev, 76. During the improvement, it was decorated based on Tatar folklore. During the complex repair of this yard in 2014, the asphalt covering was replaced, sports and children's playgrounds, sculptural compositions appeared on the place of illegally installed garages, flowerbeds are made and the recreation areas are equipped.

Mikhail Babich was shown in photographs what the yard was before the improvement and what became after. Timur Alibaev, the head of the Aviastroitelniy and Novo-Savinovsky districts’ administration, spoke about the implementation of the yard improvement project, marking that it was discussed with the residents of the houses. The management company has allocated 11.5 million rubles for the renovation of this territory. Funds for overhaul of inter-quarter driveways with the expansion of parking pockets are allocated from the republican budget.

The President of Tatarstan drew attention to the fact that although the landscaping was carried out here three years ago, the yard is kept in order.

Igor Kulyazhev, the deputy head of the Executive Committee and the chairman of the Committee for External Improvement, noted that a number of criteria are taken into account when choosing the yards, in which work will be carried out. In particular, the number of people living in houses, whether there has been a major overhaul of the house and repair of utilities, etc. In total in 2011-2016 in Kazan, 1445 yards were landscaped: 48% of the number of yard territories in the city that require repair. The amount of financing is 2 billion 665 million rubles. Now, as noted by Natalia Fishman, the assistant to the President of Tatarstan, work is being conducted to standardize approaches to the improvement of yard territories.

In addition, Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin told Mikhail Babich about equipping the yard territories of multi-apartment houses with video surveillance systems. Also, the guests inspected the children's and sports grounds and spoke with the residents of the houses.

At the end, Mikhail Babich was presented a program for the development of public spaces in the republic.

This morning, he visited a multifunctional center of the providing state and municipal services (Prospect Yamashev, 82). The program of Mikhail Babich's visit also includes a visit to the Center for Educational Technologies of the “Production Association “Zarnitsa”, an inspection of the museum complex “Gorodskaya Panorama” and participation in the meeting of the Commission on improving the investment climate, reducing administrative barriers and promoting small and medium-sized businesses in the Volga Federal District.
