January 5, Anton Nozdrin). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, inspected the
work of municipal services for cleaning of snow today. Early in the morning the
Mayor was in the Sovetsky district of the Tatarstan’s capital and checked the
condition of streets and yards.
The
inspection began on the street Zorge, where intensive cleaning line was carried
out. Igor Kulyazhev, the deputy head of the Executive Committee and the
chairman of Committee of Improvements, reported that more than 60% of normal
snow has fallen since the beginning of the winter season, 30% of the monthly
norm has fallen in the first days of January. “Contractors are working seven
days a week, the average amount of machinery is 410 units out of 550 available
from 1 to 3 January”, said I. Kulyazhev. He also said that about 20 thousand
tons of snow was removed in the first days of January, more than 215,000 tons
was removed since the beginning of the winter period.

Kulyazhev told the head of the city that there is enough of cleaning
technology. I. Metshin instructed to continue the work. “Roads should be
cleansed during the holidays. The work week should start as usual for road
maintenance, personal and public transport”, marked the Mayor of Kazan.
The Mayor,
along with Rustem Gafarov, the head of the Sovetsky district administration,
also visited one of the yards if the district on the Karbyshev Street. The
Management Company “Tankodrom” engaged in the maintenance of the territory.
Fargat Giniyatov, the director of the organization, reported that 123 houses
listed in the service company. “There are no complaints, everything is in
operation”, said the director to I. Metshin. His words were confirmed by Yulia
Filippova, the head of the house №15 on the Karbyshev street: “Our janitors
work well. We have no complaints”. At the same time, F. Giniyatov noted that
the company does not have enough workers. According to him, the staff includes
46 janitors, who are coping with cleaning thanks to the mechanic means.

asked how the situation with the garbage disposal is. Iskander Giniyatullin,
the deputy head of the Executive Committee and the chairman of the Housing
Committee, reported that garbage collection was performed in the emergency mode
on December 31, and on January 1, a limited number of units came out on
request. Since January 2, the overall use of the machinery is performing. “The
volume of garbage is slightly higher, but the contractors cope”, said I.

The Mayor
of Kazan noted the need to interact with people for cleaning: make ads and
contact with heads of houses to the residents remove their cars in yards.
