I. Metshin: “Let's make gifts to those who need most”
(KZN.RU, December 26). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, conducted the final Business Monday of this year. The Mayor wished the citizens and colleagues a Happy New Year and reminded the leaders of urban structures about the ban on receiving gifts.
According to the anti-corruption legislation, officials performing duties is forbidden to accept gifts from individuals and legal entities. The Mayor also reminded of the existence of the service Dobro Mail.Ru. “There are a large number of people who are really in need. Colleagues, let's make gifts to those who need most”, I. Metshin addressed the gathering.
The Mayor thanked the staff of the Executive Committee for their work and congratulated on the coming New Year colleagues from the Government of the republic, the Tatarstan State Council, federal institutions. “Thank you for the outgoing 2016 year. Without your support and cooperation, we would not be able to achieve results”, he marked. The Mayor of Kazan directed special words of gratitude to Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan. “No social program was cancelled, no matter how hard this year was. Particular attention of our President is focused on the capital. It's worth a lot”, said the Mayor.
Ilsur Metshin noted that the contributions of all citizens made success to the city as well. “I sincerely thank you all for the work that we carried out this year. The year was difficult, we worked well together. We share all the successes, above all, with our people. My call to the parents is to be outdoors with children more. The weather is permitting: Ded Moroz had poured enough snow. There is a possibility for active recreation in parks, gardens, woods, on a hockey rink. A large cultural program was prepared. Of course, I would like to wish physical and spiritual health, happiness to every family, that the year will be peaceful and successful, so we will work constructively. Thank you for the outgoing 2016 year, and a happy, peaceful, prosperous and creative 2017. Happy New Year to all”, said I. Metshin.
