(KZN.RU, July 25, by Taisiya Basharkina). Women's Gymnasium №12 with instruction in the Tatar language will open its doors to students September 1. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin surveyed the new building and gave its assessment.
The gymnasium is located in the Moscow District. In September, 30 girls will go to the first grade, and 210 students will move from the old school building, which is currently located at 26 Tukay Street.
The gymnasium has a swimming pool, a cafeteria, a gym, a health center, an assembly hall and a library. All classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology; they have Internet access, multimedia boards and projectors.
The school is surrounded by a small park with a lake, benches and weeping willows.
The Mayor of Kazan, evaluating the results of the construction, said that the builders had kept on schedule, so the city would have yet another worthy educational institution.
