The united day of voting in the capital of Tatarstan ended with the concert at the “Kazan Arena”
(KZN.RU, September 18). The United Voting Day was celebrated with concert at the stadium “Kazan Arena” in the capital of Tatarstan. Kazan citizens, who participated in voting for deputies to the State Duma of the seventh convocation, gathered at the site. Ildar Halikov, the Prime Minister of Tatarstan, congratulated the citizens of the republic for showing activity on behalf of the President of RT. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, also attended the celebration site.
“You have proved to be active, that each of us - students and those who work in factories, schools, hospitals - all show care for a republic and wish happiness to our beloved Tatarstan. I congratulate all of us! Tatarstan is great, united force, large single family”, addressed the Prime Minister of Tatarstan to the audience.
The entertainment program was organized today on the day of elections of deputies to the State Duma on the ground in front of the stadium “Kazan-Arena”, where Kazan citizens could pass GTO standards, learn new moves at dance master classes, watch the performance of the street theater “Kulturny Sdvig” and participate in the literary yard with an actor Veniamin Smehov.
Best dance and creative collectives of Russia and Tatarstan were on the main stage of the “Kazan-Arena” for citizens, starting from 16.00. “Silfred Evaldovich”, “Bolshoi Kush”, “Miami Dance”, the ethno-lounge project “Tatarsis”, and VIA “Volga-Volga” took part in the concert.
Pop stars took to the stage later: the singer Sergei Lazarev and Salavat Fathetdinov, People's Artist of Tatarstan. Popular Russian singer sang hits such as “La La La”, “Everytime”, and the song “Only one”, with which he performed at the Eurovision-2016, as well as other songs. Igor Nikolayev, the famous Soviet and Russian composer and singer, completed the festive evening.
The entrance to the concert hall was free with a special bracelet “Ya progolosoval!”, which everyone could get in the polling stations of the city. On the Election Day bracelets also could be used as a ticket for public transport and entrance ticket to the Dinosaur Park.
