(KZN.RU, July 28, Kseniya Shvetsova). The work on the landscaping of parks and gardens is in full swing in Kazan. Builders are trying to finish as much work as possible for the summer season. Kazan citizens will be able to evaluate the landscaping results of one of the most ambitious projects - the reconstruction of the park “Black Lake” - at the end of August. Landscaping is also planned to be completed in the other central park Lyadskoy garden. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, inspected the progress of works on objects. The Mayor encouraged contractors not to relax and to finish the work in stages, so that residents could see the changes.
The park “Black Lake”, which was closed for reconstruction this summer, will completely change its appearance. The area of the park is 5 hectares, walking paths, children's playgrounds and other recreation areas will be created for citizens in this area. The reconstruction of the park was made possible through public-private partnerships. 70 million rubles were allocated by the sponsor (OOO “Paradigma”), and 50 million were allocated from the republic budget. The contractor is OOO “SK Tyrone”.
According to Ruslan Sadykov, the director of the “Paradigma”, repairs of stairs, fencing, the stage, additional tracks, replacement of lighting elements, partial replacement of paving, the connection to the network of storm sewers, installation of engineer sewerage and water supply, and other activities are planned this year. “At the moment, we have already completed the dismantling of paving and stairs, work on the construction of the central staircase near the arch and repair the fence is continuing”, said Sadykov. “We have divided the project into phases, the first of which is planned to complete by August 30. After that, we will proceed to the second stage”.
Builders have already started to build a ring-shaped area in the middle of the park. According to R. Sadykov, it will be pergola, made of wood and metal. Pavilions for the sale of souvenirs, point of catering and recreation for the citizens will be located inside. “This is one of the most expensive parts of the project. Initially, its value amounted to 14 million rubles, but we are working on the reduction of price, today we have reduced that amount to 6.5 million and continue to work on this”, said Sadykov.
The Mayor noted that the walking paths, replaced lighting and other landscaping subtleties are an integral part of any parks and gardens reconstruction, but it is necessary to pay attention to more sweeping changes. “We must make an effort to achieve more visible change, so residents saw the difference between what it was and what it became after the opening of the park. It is necessary that citizens were able to assess at least the first stage of works for the Day of the Republic and the City Day,” said I. Metshin. The Mayor noted that the gradual improvement of the parks is a good practice, which will allow carrying out large-scale work, without tightening results.
Then the Mayor of Kazan inspected the Lyadskoy garden, in which the main bulk of the reconstruction work was carried out last year. The landscaping scheduled to be completed this year. It is planned to install the multi-function pavilion, the central fountain figure, wrought-iron benches and organize the spot for solid waste. I. Metshin talked to the citizens, who were relaxing in the garden, and noted that it is necessary to work on creating a beautiful lawn. “We will not achieve results if there will not be proper care and maintenance in the parks”, said the Mayor.
The project of the Lyadskoy garden restoration has developed the Moscow Company “WOW HAUS”, the contractor was the organization OOO “Kamastroyinvest”. Paved walking paths, fountain, new lighting, small architectural figures, green areas, and children's playground has already appeared in a garden, which area is 2.3 hectares.
