Ilsur Metshin inspected the repair works at the 2nd Southwest Street

(Kazan City KZN.RU, June 16, Zilya Gayfi). In the Moskovsky district of Kazan renovations to restore the roadway at 2nd Southwest Street are undergoing. On a plot of 5670 sq.m patching and replacement of worn layers are planned. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin has inspected the progress. Head of the city was accompanied by the head of administration of Kirovsky and Moskovsky Sergey Mironov, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee - Chairman of the Committee of improvements Igor Kulyazhev, General Director of "Volgadorstroy" Airat Minnulin.

The cost of works on the 2nd Southwest Street is estimated at 11,275 million rubles, for these funds patching and rebuilding of worn layers of the roadway are held. At the moment work on the installation of border stones on the pavement is underway, laying of asphalt concrete pavement is preparing. According to Sergei Mironov, the residents repeatedly complained to the state of the street and the lack of the pavement on it - a kindergarten is near. Contractor settles the sidewalk without prejudice to the existing green spaces - all the trees on the site have been preserved.

According to Igor Kulyazhev, only this year in Kazan 44 roads and sidewalks in the area of ​​152 square meters will be repaired (renovation is completed on 20 sites, the total amount of work is performed 51%). Also construction of 56 roads in settlements at area of ​​132 square meters are planned (Renovation is completed at 19 sites, the total volume of performed work - 49%).

Ilsur Metshin instructed to maintain the momentum of work, noting that the result will be evaluated by all the inhabitants of the city at the end of the summer. "People will be back from holidays and vacations, and hopefully won’t not recognize native streets. It is important to carry out this work qualitatively and in time”, - the Mayor concluded.

Recall this year967 million rubles from the state budget were allocated on road construction in Kazan, including 500 million rubles for the overhaul of yards and driveways, 300 million rubles on patching and rebuilding of worn layers of asphalt concrete pavement of city roads and 167 million rubles on the repair of settlements’ roads. Republican enterprise "Glavtatdortrans" is defined the customer of works.
