The 16th session of the State Council of RT of the fifth convocation is held in Kazan

(Kazan City KZN.RU, 11 March). Today in Kazan the sixteenth meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the fifth convocation is held. The session is attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, members of the Government of Tatarstan and invited guests, among them - participants and winners of the finals of the Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan on the parliamentary debate. Meeting is conducted by the Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin.

Presidency introduced parliamentarians 36 questions, including 13 projects of the Republic of Tatarstan laws, 18 drafts of federal laws and legislative initiatives in the region. 12 bills scheduled for consideration in the first reading, 1 - in the second.

In the first reading the deputies will consider the bill on amendments to the republican laws on fire safety, on crime prevention, on the roads and road activities, the development of small and medium businesses, on physical culture and sport, on freedom of conscience and religious associations and a number of others.

The second reading of a bill on amendments to the republican law "On State Awards of the Republic of Tatarstan", which provides the possibility of awarding not only individuals but also institutions of higher state award of the Republic with the Order "For Services to the Republic of Tatarstan", will take place.

Also at today's meeting a report on the work of the Ombudsman under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on protection of the rights of entrepreneurs in 2015 and the report on the activities of the Ombudsman for Children in the Republic of Tatarstan and the observance of the rights and legitimate interests of a child in 2015 will be heard

Total agenda for the sixteenth meeting of the State Council includes 42 questions.
