Ilsur Metshin took part in the charity event "Ride with the use"

(Kazan City KZN.RU, March 5, Kseniya Shvetsova). Today in Kazan at the stadium "Labor Reserves" a charity event "Ride with the use" was held. The participants were all the citizens who chose skating at this leisure day. All funds collected on this day will be directed to the charity fund "In your favor". The action was supported by Mayor Ilsur Metshin - he also rode the skates and spoke with the most active residents of the city.

Citizens, who came to the stadium from 15.00 to 18.00, could contribute to the development of philanthropic culture in the capital of Tatarstan. For the action participants, who came to the rink with their skates, cost of a ticket was 60 rubles, and those who chose to hire, purchased tickets for 100 rubles. All funds will go to the presentation of and support for the project "Baby Box". Recall, this is a new charity campaign aimed to help young mothers in need of support. In each box there is all necessary for a child from 0 to 6 months: diapers, clothes, toys and certificates for dairy. Total to date 400 such boxes are prepared, which will soon be presented to young mothers. "In Russia there are no analogues of this project, we focused on the experience of Finland, where it is held for 75 years - said General Director of the fund "In your favor" Darina Tabakova. – There are very responsive people in Kazan in general, and we want them to have many opportunities to do good deeds".

The head of the city also made donation to the charity fund. He appealed to the citizens to express his gratitude for the activity and encouraged to bring up kindness in children. "We all want to live in the well-ordered and good city and we can make it the best. Help your parents, grandparents, neighbors, be attentive and careful, and Kazan will always be a good city"- I. Metshin addressed to the children who came to support the action.

The Mayor held a children's workshop and showed the kids how to score goals in hockey gates. I. Metshin also presented signed hockey stick to the charitable fund - later it will become one of the lots in a charity auction and will also be able to benefit the needy people of the city. However, in this day a few left the stadium without an autograph of the Mayor - I. Metshin, communicating with children, willingly responded to requests to sign hockey sticks to the memory.

Kazan residents confirmed their responsiveness that they have not afraid of bad weather –there were quite a lot of those who wanted to ride with the use. Quality of ice, by the way, did not disappoint the residents – at the stadium "Labor Reserves" the ice is maintained in the best condition when the air temperature is up to 15 degrees above zero.

In addition to skiing, the staff of the Charity Fund «In your favor» held competitions for the participants and has launched a celebration of spring - the citizens were treated with traditional Shrovetide dish - pancakes and hot tea. All wishing could take a picture, put photo in on social networks and then get a printed photo.

Over the last 5 years of its activity Charity Fund "In your favor" has assisted the needy residents of Kazan in the amount of almost 40 million rubles. Employees of the Fund note that charity is gaining momentum, and more kind people, who are ready to give their support, appear in the city in recent years. Incidentally, this is not financial support exactly - for example, the time that volunteers are willing to give, taking part in organizing charity events, is not less valuable.
