Ilsur Metshin met with the head of administration of Saransk Peter Tutaev

(Kazan City KZN.RU, February 25). Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met with the head of administration of city district of Saransk Peter Tultaev today. The meeting was held at Kazan City Hall and was dedicated to the exchange of experience of conducting of branches of municipal economy in the member cities of the Volga region cities Association (VCA). The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Head of the municipal formation of Kazan Rustam Nigmatullin.

Peter Tultaev spoke about the administrative structure of the capital of Mordovia, and noted that much has been done in Kazan for the development and proper functioning of all areas of the city economy. Head of Saransk said that in the late fall of last year immediately after the meeting of the Association of Volga Cities delegation of the capital of Mordovia visited Kazan for the study of issues in the field of municipal services. "We especially were interested in question of the organization of public transport," - said P.Tultaev.

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, in turn, noted the importance of mutual exchange of experience within VCA. Such a task, he said, Plenipotentiary of the RF President in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich puts.

P.Tultaev noted that the authorities of Saransk are interested in Kazan experience to reform the public transport system. Ilsur Metshin in detail told his colleague about the changes that have occurred in this area in the capital of Tatarstan. "For the year  we were able to change 2800 "Gazelle" and “PAZ” buses to 1300 comfortable, low-floor buses of large capacity", - said I. Metshin. Mayor of Kazan said that the buses are equipped with engines of “Euro-4” that complies with the strict environmental standards. "We were the first gaining experience - I. Recall that for the exchange of experience in the organization of urban transport delegation of the Ulyanovsk region arrived in Kazan. Head of the delegation - Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of the Chuvash Republic Mikhail Reznikov noted the positive experience of Kazan on this issue.
