(Kazan City
KZN.RU, 5 February). XV Congress of party "United Russia" launched
today in Moscow. The event is attended by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
The delegations
from each region of the country will be the participants of the congress, which
will last for two days. Tatarstan delegation is headed by Secretary of the
Tatarstan regional branch of "United Russia", Chairman of State
Council Farid Mukhametshin. The main theme of the Congress is the preparation
for the upcoming pre-federal party vote to determine the nominees for the
subsequent nomination of candidates for deputies of the State Duma of the
seventh convocation.
On the
first day work of the congress is scheduled in ten discussion panels:
"Discussion of the Regulation of conducting of early voting",
"Health", "Education and Science", "Budgetary and
Fiscal Policy", "Industrial Policy", "Social Policy",
"Agricultural Development , support for social infrastructure in rural areas","
Economic policy, support of entrepreneurship", "Transport infrastructure",
“ Strengthening of Russian identity, dialogue of cultures and religions”. Participants
will discuss the problems of areas and develop proposals on the most pressing
issues.
The party
chairman, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev will attend the plenary
session of the second day of the congress.
The
congress is scheduled to approve the regulation on the procedure of the general
federal pre-party voting, as well as the composition of the Federal Organizing
Committee, that will accept the rules - a step by step instruction in a
preliminary vote, the official website of the party informs.
