Ilsur Metshin: "Car parks will help drivers and passengers"
(KZN.RU, April 16). The construction of multilevel car parks will let to create over 9 thousand parking spaces. The meeting dedicated to car parks construction was held in the Cabinet of Ministries of Tatarstan under auspices of Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan. Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan also participated in the meeting.
The Executive Committee elaborated the range of measures to improve road-transport situation of Kazan. They include street-road network development (construction of transport interchanges, pedestrian crossings), the traffic management, organization of parking spaces.
The today’s meeting was held to solve these problems. Before the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov, Ildar Khalikov, and Ilsur Metshin saw all places of a further construction of multilevel car parks.
“Places for parking are designated in all districts of the city. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the central part of the city, near the Kazan Ice Palace of sports TATNEFT ARENA as top-priority”, Mayor of Kazan noted after the meeting.
As Mayor said 12 essential sites had been defined for construction. President of Tatarstan approved all sites.
