Ilsur Metshin: "We see the demand for social services in the community"

The chairman of Committee of housing and communal services of the Executive Committee Iskander Giniyatullin told about the work done at the Business Monday today in the City Hall.

Through the program of overhaul of social institutions, initiated by the President of Tatarstan in 2012, for 4 years 108 schools for a total amount of 2.4 billions rubles were repaired in Kazan, which is 81% of all educational institutions in the city. "This year 17 schools in 19 buildings in the amount of 504 million rubles were repaired. 8 kinds of works were made in the schools - repair of roofs, facades, replacement of windows, doors, utilities, bathrooms, entrances and skirting. In addition, 28 schools entered the program "Accessible Environment" in 2015, a "barrier-free environment" is created there”- said Iskander Giniyatullin.

For the first time in many years the program of overhaul came to kindergartens, which had no repair for over 30 years. This year 4 kindergartens, put into operation no later than 1981, have been updated. "When carrying out the overhaul of kindergartens in addition to the 8 types of work installation of warm floors in nurseries and construction of sunshades on recreational areas was carried. This year 665 young Kazan residents admitted to renovated kindergartens"- said Iskander Giniyatullin.

At the same time this year in Kazan repair of buildings for accommodation of pre-school educational institutions and facilities for the establishment of additional groups in kindergartens ("Roadmap") was continued. "6 objects amounting to 111 million rubles and 26 preschool educational institutions in the amount of 46 million rubles were overhauled. Additionally landscaping, equipping facilities with gaming complexes on recreational areas, complete set of equipment and furniture total with the bedding and utensils were carried out. A total 975 places were created in Kazan kindergartens ", - said Iskander Giniyatullin.

This year the program of overhaul touched youth clubs - "Koyash Nury", "Box", "Ephebia", "Electron", "Start", the total area of ​​it is over 2500 square meters. 40 million rubles has been allocated to repair these buildings. According to Iskander Giniyatullin, until 2015 in these clubs only cosmetic repairs were performed, and "Electron" did not functioned since 2010 for the emergency of a building. This year in all five buildings the roof was replaced, bathrooms and showers, entrances, facades and the surrounding area were made presentable.

According to the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin program of overhaul of children's social institutions is especially important for the city, where there is a positive demographic dynamics. "This year a lot of work to repair schools was conducted. Without the help of the republic we could not complete the entire scope of work.
