Ilsur Metshin leads the August ranking of heads of subjects of the Volga Federal District

(Kazan City KZN.RU, September 22). Information-analytical system "Medialogia" prepared the next rating of the first persons of the capitals of the subjects of the Volga Federal District in August 2015. Over the month, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin retained his primacy in the media rating. Ilsur Metshin’s media index on the analysis of federal and regional media was 3974.35 points.

During August, the media reported a number of events with the participation of the head of the capital of Tatarstan. In particular, Ilsur Metshin stated that Kazan could bid to host the Summer Olympic Games. Also, the media reported that the Mayor of Kazan has summed up the world championship in water sports, which took place this summer in the capital of Tatarstan.

Rating is based on a database of media "Medialogia" consisting of about 26,600 of the most influential sources: TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, news agencies, online media. It includes rating of the current heads of the capitals and the heads of administrations of subjects of the Volga Federal District.

In second place of the August media rating is the Mayor of Nizhny Novgorod Oleg Sorokin, in the third - the head of Perm Igor Sapko, according to the website of "Medialogia".

It is worth recalling that Ilsur Metshin holds the lead in the rankings of "Medialogia" for several months.
