Roads included in the route of members and client groups of the World Cup-2015 were brought in good condition. In addition, 6 million flowers were planted, 36 sidewalks and 321 bus stops were repaired, 15 fountains were put into operation. This was announced today during a meeting of staff held in the Village of athletes, chaired by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, by deputy head of the Executive Committee - Chairman of the Committee of external accomplishment Igor Kulyazhev.

"Today roadway on 21 of 24 streets have been renovated, remaining work will be completed by tomorrow. 36 sidewalks on tourist routs have been repaired, 4200 tactile boards have been replaced. Also road marking were applied on the streets 325, temporary dedicated lane for the movement of client groups appeared on 9 streets. 321 bus stops were renovated and painted. A special team will be watching for their proper condition on a daily basis. In general, the accomplishment of all road works is 96% ", - reported Igor Kulyazhev.

District heads reported to the Mayor about the work of ​​improvement done in their area.  Old-Tatar Sloboda also got beautiful, well-groomed appearance, it traditionally attracts many of tourists.
