SCYSSOR Tasma is waiting for the full repair
(KZN.RU, December 22). The Tasma Children and Youth Sports School is waiting for principal changes. It is planned to conduct repair on sports facilities run by the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve (SCYSSOR).
Within the Five Years of Health the number of citizens engaged in athletics should rise to 30% that is every third of inhabitants of the city should become a more athletic person.
Improvements in the material and technical base of sports facilities of the city will help to achieve this goal in addition to healthy lifestyle. Sports complexes in excellent condition built over the past year and a half for the Universiade are beyond doubts, so that the objects of sports infrastructure which were built in Soviet times are required repairs. Among them there are sports facilities under the jurisdiction of the Tasma junior sports school.
"Thanks to the victory in holding the Universiade-2013 Tasma stadium founded in 1959 will be reconstructed. However other Tasma sports schools wait for the moment when they will be repaired. It involves 1100 children, and 37 coaches. We can say Tasma is the heart of Moscovsky district. Next year we are going to repair the SCYSSOR Tasma fundamentally and make them accessible maximally for our children and other residents of Kazan", Ilsur Metshin said.
There are 6 departments in the Tasma sports school: athletics, judo, Tatar-Bashkir wrestling, football, skating, archery. "We have probably not the worst conditions in the city - there is a gym and a fitness room. But the building was built in 1970, so it is necessary the repair. I wish that the building was warm - the heating system has not enough power that is why the wrestling hall is not fully warmed. I would like to expand gym, get new lockers in the locker room", Sergey Anikin, the Head coach of judo department said.
In the framework of reconstruction of the Tasma stadium it is scheduled to repair of heating systems, water supply, sewerage, rolled roofing in all buildings of the school. The full repair will be performed in the room for games, the athletics arena and in the tower of fire-applied sports, herewith the wrestling and gaming halls will be equipped with modern ventilation system.
