(KZN.RU, March 28) Preparing the sports facilities for the 16th FINA World Cup 2015 in Kazan was discussed in Tatarstan's Government House.
The meeting was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the International Swimming Federation (FINA) Julio Maglione, FINA Executive Director Cornel Marculescu and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin .
The Tatarstan President assured the FINA leaders that their confidence in the country and Kazan as the host city will be fully justified. "We will make it a feast for all the athletes and lovers of water sports," he said. Furthermore, holding the World Championship in Russia will give impetus to the development of water sports in our country, concluded Rustam Minnikhanov.
