The largest polyclinic in Kazan will open in Salavat Kupere

A polyclinic is being built in Salavat Kupere, which will become the largest primary care facility in Kazan. It will serve 60 thousand people. Patients will receive outpatient and round-the-clock inpatient care. The facility will house adult and children's polyclinics, day hospitals, a maternity care, an infectious diseases department and an examination area, a trauma center, an ambulance service station. The complex will be equipped with modern high-tech medical equipment.

During a visit to the construction site, the Mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin noted the importance of

“We are building a polyclinic taking into account the population growth of the neighborhood. 30 thousand people live in Salavat Kupere, while new polyclinic will serve 60 thousand,”- the head of the city noted.

According to the results of the previous 10 years, the capital of Tatarstan continues to be the leader in the construction of medical facilities – 16 polyclinics and five hospitals have been built, as well as other social facilities, the Mayor noted.

“Last year, 1 million 300 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in the city. Salavat Kupere is no exception: we are growing with new houses, educational institutions, and in 2022 we opened a park. The largest polyclinic in the city will open soon in Salavat Kupere by the City Day. There is a lack of funding, but this issue will be resolved,”- he said.

It is planned to serve 750 patients per shift in the new polyclinic: 500 adults and 250 children.

To date, the construction work has been completed by 53%. The Finishing works, installation of utilities and window blocks are currently underway in the building.

The interior will be decorated in green shades and dedicated to the theme “Man is part of the ecosystem”. In the children's department, the walls will be designed with pictures of heroes of fairy tales. Interactive boards will appear in the adult block, with the help of which you can get acquainted with necessary information.
