of the Executive Committee met with almost every one of them and compiled
social passports. All issues requiring immediate solutions will be considered
at the city headquarters, the Mayor said. “This work is important to keep the
spirit of soldiers, they must feel our support and be sure that their families,
spouses, children, parents, are all surrounded by care, and that any problems
that arise for their families will find solutions. And we will do everything
possible and even more to help them”, - he stressed.

meals at municipal schools from October 10 until the end of the school year.

“Dozens of
businessmen have already responded to our call and turned to me with a proposal
to provide direct assistance to the families of the mobilized. At the Good
Kazan, we are organizing a fund to help families of the mobilized, where
everyone will be able to transfer money, as well as provide specific support.
From this fund, we will allocate funds for targeted assistance – this is to
provide medicines, unscheduled medical examinations for family members or children
items”, - the Mayor stressed.
Bulat Aleyev,
the Chief of Staff of the Executive Committee of the city, informed about the
work carried out with the families of the mobilized. He reported that as part
of the first wave of partial mobilization, more than 800 soldiers and officers
were drafted from Kazan.
“When going to
the military service, everyone wants to have confidence that the family is
protected and surrounded by care. We have developed a family social passport
with 16 basic questions. Starting from Saturday, about 300 employees of the
Kazan City Hall and employees of social institutions visited the families and
talked to parents, wives, children of the mobilized. 70% of the passports have
been compiled”, - B.Aleyev said.
According to
him, following the results, questions were grouped into several main blocks.
The first one includes issues that require legal clarifications. The second set
of issues is related to children, it concerns their care, payment for
kindergarten and meals at school. “Parents of the mobilized also need care.
Targeted assistance is required with treatment, medications, medical
examination, social services at home, paying taxes or in housing repairs. For
some wives of the mobilized, the issue of employment, retraining, the need for flexible
working hours is relevant. Every problem is taken under control”, - B.Aleyev
noted
The Mayor
instructed to take control of the employment of family members of the mobilized
and the social patronage of the elderly.
