Today, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin
visited the new Multifunctional Center, located at 5 Chistopolskaya Street. The
total area of the office is 1,725 sq.m.
According to Lenara Muzafarova, director of GBU “Multifunctional Center for
the State and Municipal Services in the republic of Tatarstan”, 50 windows have
been organized for the reception of citizens. The new office is equipped with
everything necessary –furniture and waiting areas.
Tatarstan President and the Mayor of Kazan inspected the reception hall,
the staff service area, the meeting room, the classroom, and visited a psychological
release room, Tatarstan President’s Press Office reports.
Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the Russian Population Census during his
visit to the multifunctional center. “Our country is huge, multinational and multi-confessional.
Of course, the state should have information about residents, their age and
nationality, as well their education. All these data are very important for the
work of the authorities. This information helps to plan construction of schools,
census data provide great opportunities for making the right decisions for the
future”, - the President said.
Asgat Safarov, chief of staff of Tatarstan President, and Natalia
Gataullina, head of the Tatarstan State Statistics Office, also took part in
the visit.
