With all my heart I congratulate you on the International volunteer day!
The volunteering is of great importance for our country. Volunteers were the first to respond the call in the wartime, readily met challenges of the time, helping to build large industrial enterprises, came to the rescue to people who needed support in difficult moments. This diversity of the volunteerism indicates the inner strength and open heart of each volunteer.
Volunteerism has played a new role in recent years. Hosting the major international sports events has become an important stage of its development in Russia. Thanks to your assistance, Kazan hosted the Universiade 2013, FINA Championships 2015, and the 2017 Confederations Cup matches at a high level. In 2017, in accordance with the resolution of the UN General Assembly, the decree of the President of the Russian Federation established December 5 as a volunteer day. Thus, to the World Cup 2018, the volunteering in Russia worthily marked its professional holiday.
Today, development of a charity culture of is one of the priorities in Kazan, and your intense activity in various fields -social, cultural, environmental, patriotic spheres- fully contributes to this development. You generously share the warmth of your hearts and put out energies into the socially significant projects absolutely selflessly.
