“Dear Kazan citizens!
The most magical night of the year is coming. Looking back, we are proud to note that thanks to the diligence of Kazan citizens, our city made a new leap in the development and now is rightfully called one of the most comfortable cities in Russia. The new metro station Dubravnaya and the modern embankment on the Kaban Lake, new landscaped squares and parks, and the house of culture opened after the reconstruction, kilometers of overhauled roads, hundreds of renovated yards, dozens of social facilities – these are only the main milestones of the year.
Kazan once again showed the world its hospitality and ability to host large-scale events at a high level. Six matches of the FIFA World Cup 2018 and the unforgettable atmosphere that reigned in these days in the city will remain in our history forever. The “Good Kazan” loudly declared itself to the whole of Russia.
I believe that this vector of creation will necessarily last in the coming year, will allow us to overcome all difficulties, and achieve new heights.
