(KZN.RU, October 29). Today the meeting of the XXIX session of the Kazan City Duma takes place in the City Hall. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the capital of Tatarstan, presented state and city awards to Kazan citizens who made a significant contribution to the development of the city. I. Metshin also congratulated the former activists of the Leninist Komsomol of the Russian Federation on the 100th anniversary of the union.
The head of the city noted that the Komsomol members were enthusiastically engaged in public work, went on subbotniks, duty on the city, worked on thousands of All-Union construction projects, created advanced production, built new cities. “There is no longer a country where the Komsomol existed. But the people brought up by it, retained their high ideals, the ability to work in a team and put common interests above their personal ones. I know that there are many such people in the hall. The Komsomol raised a lot of personalities capable of solving tasks that the country trusted with the most ambitious projects”, said I. Metshin. For example, everyone has heard such ambitious projects as “BAM”, “Magnitka”, and in our republic, these are “KAMAZ”, “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”, “Orgsintez”, and many others. “The Komsomol school has become a good, strong foundation in the fate of so many Kazan citizens who have made and continue to make a significant contribution to the development of our city”, said the Mayor. He thanked the activists of the Komsomol on behalf of all citizens for the selfless work and education of young people and handed them letters of gratitude.
The first secretaries of district committees of the All-Union Leninist Komsomol of the Russian Federation, an ex-mayor of Kazan, Kamil Iskhakov, an assistant to the President of the RT, Damir Muratov, who took part in the construction of the “Orgsintez” and “KAMAZ” plants, the swimming pool “Orgsintez”, the youth center of the Moskovsky district, and the facilities of the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, received letters of gratitude for the significant contribution to the development of the Komsomol movement and in connection with the centenary of the founding of the All-Union Leninist Komsomol of the Russian Federation.
“Our Komsomol biography is the golden pages of our life. The Komsomol taught us everything. We have learned how to work with people correctly, evaluate current events, and reflect not only within a specific event or region. Since I had to work in the management of the city for 17 years, I can say that the city would not be what it became today if it had not been hardened in its Komsomol years”, said Kamil Iskhakov, expressing gratitude to the Komsomol school.
The Mayor of Kazan thanked the secretaries of the Komsomol committees of the largest industrial enterprises of the city: Rafis Burganov, the deputy prime minister of the RT and the minister of Education of the RT, Guzaliya Minkina, the head of Public Relations and Media Services of the “Gazprom Transgaz Kazan”, Vladimir Slepov, who organized a brigade of initiative young people who took an active part in the construction of the Orgsintez plant, Vladimir Zhdanov, an advisor to the chairman of the board of directors of the AO “Kazan Optical Mechanical Plant”. Also, Komsomol veterans of universities, secretaries of Komsomol committees, and heads of Komsomol organizations received gratitude the Mayor of Kazan. Alexey Sozinov, the rector of the KSMU, Georgy Balyasnikov, an advisor to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RT, who contributed to public safety and law and order in the republic and the capital, performing the duties of the head of the Komsomol squad of the KSU, were among them.
“The city Komsomol organization laid the foundation that allowed us to manage the great things for the whole city that give the right for every citizen of Kazan and the republic to call it the third capital of Russia”, said Rafis Burganov.
I. Metshin also presented state and city awards to people who made a significant contribution to the development of the republic and its capital. For example, Larisa Zalevskaya, the deputy head of the prefecture “Stary Gorod”, Igor Titov, the deputy head of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts’ administration, and Dilyara Fatkullina, the deputy head of the Directorate for Control and Anti-Corruption, received a medal for merit in the development of local self-government of the RT.
By order of the President of the RT, gratitude for many years of productive work in the local self-government bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan was announced to Larisa Brykalina, the head of the department of the Committee for Economic Development.
Irina Vostrova, the head of the Office of the Administration of the Executive Committee of Kazan, was awarded the distinction for the excellent service of Kazan for many years of conscientious work and merit in her professional activities. Alsu Saetova, an assistant minister of Youth Affairs of the RT, was awarded a diploma for conscientious work and contribution to the development of public spaces of the city. Bulat Aleev, the deputy head of the Sovetsky district’s administration, received gratitude for the conscientious work and merit in professional activities. The gratitude of the Mayor was presented to Darina Tabakova, the marketing director of Suvar Construction, for social activities and contribution to the development of charity in the city.
