Ilsur Metshin will head the jury of contest for the corporate identity of the Kazan zoological and botanic garden
(Kazan City KZN.RU, May 5). Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin will head the jury of the Open All-Russian competition for the corporate identity of the Kazan Zoological and Botanic Garden. Companies operating in the field of graphic design, branding, marketing communications and advertising can claim for participation.
Applications must be submitted before 11 May 2016. May 17 short-list of participants, which will develop the concept of corporate identity, will be chosen. Results of the contest the professional jury will sum July 6, 2016.
To participate you must register on the website and download presentation, including portfolio of the team: 5 corporate identity projects. Special preference will be given to participants who have experience in the development and implementation of navigation systems, the press service of the Mayor’s Office of Kazan informs.
As the chairman of the jury, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin noted, zoological and botanic garden is a unique place, familiar to every Kazan resident since childhood. "We are confident that its reconstruction and development program will allow us to compete with the largest Russian zoos and stand on a par with the best similar parks in the world. After the reconstruction zoological and botanic garden should be not only interesting, convenient base for exploring, but visually attractive public space. Therefore, we invite professionals from all over Russia to come up with a creative solution of the corporate identity and navigate to this territory. And be sure we will embody the best proposal in life", - I. Metshin concluded.
The winner will become the official partner of the Kazan Zoological and Botanic Garden on the development of corporate identity under a separate contract. Its concept will be implemented already in 2016.
Summary
Kazan Zoological and Botanic Garden was founded in 1806 by Professor Karl Fuchs. Since 1931 it combines zoological and botanical collections. This is one of the oldest such gardens in Europe. Today its territory is home to over 160 species of animals and more than 1000 species of plants. In 2016 Kazan zoological and botanic garden will celebrate its 210th anniversary.
