I. Metshin inspected the construction of the new dining room in a children's camp “Zarechie”

(Kazan City KZN.RU, April 19, Zilya Gayfi). Repair and construction work take place in the large municipal camp “Zarechie”, where each year more than two thousand children have rest. Now year-round dining room with its own production plant, which will serve 400 children with hot meals, is being built in the camp. After the transition to year-round operation camp capacity will increase to 7000 people per year. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected construction work today.

In Kirovsky district of Kazan in the camp "Zarechie" with area of ​​9.7 hectares 2 winter and 3 summer buildeins, an administrative building, a summer dining room and a summer terrace, sports facilities (soccer field, basketball and volleyball courts, playground for street workout) are located. According to the chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth of Executive Committee Sergei Mironov, the global reconstruction began in 2013.

In 2014 in "Zarechie" hot water system was upgraded, and in the summer of 2015 on the instructions of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the camp all the asphalt paths, areas for recreation, access to roads and parking lots have been repaired in the amount of 27 million rubles. Thanks to overhaul range of additional services expanded: children can ride bicycles, roller skates and engage in other active sports.

According to Sergei Mironov, after carrying out the work it was possible to increase the throughput capacity of the camp: if before a shift 400 children rested here, now - 550. The updated buildings have all conditions for recreation for children, ranging from the installation of modern furniture to arrangement of additional bathrooms: if before the public toilet was located on each floor, today toilets for personal use are available in every room. "It was always been fun, noisy and cramped in children's camps to feel a friend's shoulder. However, what we see today looks like a hotel room compared to the old camp,"- the Mayor said after examining the building №1.

25 million rubles from the republican budget and 5 million rubles from the municipal have been allocated for the construction of two-storey building with total area of ​​the dining room in 1185 sq.m. "The first floor will house the dining room with of ​​232 sq.m. for 400 seats. Here the distribution line is located and next - production hall with a cooling chamber and storerooms for products. On the second floor a multifunctional auditorium for events for the children will be equipped", - Sergey Mironov said.

Ilsur Metshin noted that there is a comfortable place for year-round use in Kazan. "Just this year over 28 thousand children will have a rest. I am glad that decent living conditions are created for them. Previously we were just happy that we had children's recreation centers from the Soviet past, today we see that a modern, comfortable environment is created foe children", - the head of the city said and thanked the Minister of Youth and Sport of RT Vladimir Leonov for the project.

Construction of building of the camp canteen will be completed in mid-May. Camp management also plans to update the site of the stadium.
