"Stars of hospitality" were awarded in Kazan

(Kazan City KZN.RU, January 19, Anton Nozdrin). Competition of professional skills of workers of tourism industry "Stars of hospitality" ended in Kazan. Mayor Ilsur Metshin congratulated winners of the competition. Awarding was held today at City Hall.

"We are pleased that tourism and hospitality are among the main sectors of municipal economy, - I. Metshin noted in his welcoming speech. - In the two years that have passed from the World Universiade before the World Cup in water sports, you - the tourism industry workers - did a great job, grew up greatly as professionals". The Mayor stressed that due to the increased skills of professionals Kazan tourism industry occupies a leading position in various rankings. "Today the hospitality is our calling card" - added Ilsur Metshin.

At the end of the competition Radmila Gainullina (restaurant "Emperor") became the best waiter, Vitaly Reyno (Corston, «Extra Lounge») was recognized as the best bartender, Ruslan Abdulkhanov ("Riviera") was considered the best port, Anna Zhukova ("Persona Grata") took the first place in the nomination "The best manager of inbound tourism", Guzel Satdinova ("Riviera") won in the category of maids, experts recognized Julia Zhiznevskaja as the best guide.

At the end of the ceremony Vice Mayor Eugeniya Lodvigova presented awards to experts and partners of the competition.

Recall that the competition "Stars of hospitality", launched in the autumn of last year, was held in 2 stages, more than 60 people were participants of the competition. The contest had 6 nominations: the jury chose the best hotel manager, maid, manager of domestic and inbound tourism, guide, waiter and bartender. In the future the organizers intend to hold the competition on a regular basis.
